The platform

A medical device CRM that arrives already built

Most CRMs are a blank object model waiting for someone to turn them into a device company. This one already is one. Registrations, license holders and distributors, renewals, markets, products, hospital accounts and contacts are the objects you log into — and the market data is already inside them.

Millions of data points across 30 markets

Registrations, license holders, distributors, facilities and competitor filings — a robust environment to work in and build on.

Ready on day one

Registration tracking software with the objects already built

These are not modules you configure. They are what the product is made of — because they are the same at every device and IVD company.

Registrations

Every registration you hold, by market, with its status and the local entity that holds it — in the same place as everyone else's, so your footprint and the market's are one screen.

License holders & distributors

Who holds your registration in each market, and who else could sell for you there. Distributor management with the field already loaded rather than a list you have to go and build.

Renewals & submission windows

What is due, what is past due, and what a lapse actually costs — because in most markets a missed renewal is not a late fee, it is registering again from scratch.

Markets & footprint

Where you are registered and where you are not, market by market, with the local partner named against each one.

Products

Your catalogue, matched to the registrations that cover it — so "can we sell this there" is a lookup, not an email thread.

Hospital accounts & distributor deals

Accounts you import from a CSV, and distributor conversations tracked from Prospect to Won. The commercial side sits beside the regulatory side.

Contacts

The people at each partner and account, attached to the market and the deal they belong to.

Board packs

The quarterly view — coverage, what moved, what is at risk — assembled from what is already in the system.

Launch plans, projects and a financial overview sit alongside them. How portfolio monitoring works → · See how it would work for your company →

See it

Your catalogue, your registrations, and where each product has launched

Three screens rather than a feature tour.

A product catalogue table listing each product with its status — In Production or In Development — its GMDN term, device class and version, with a product family expanded into three sub-rows.
Your catalogue as the product sees it — status, GMDN, class and version, with product families grouped.
A registrations table listing country, registration name, the matched product name marked confirmed, status, approval date, expiry date and the licence holder for each row.
Every registration by market, with approval and expiry dates and the licence holder named — and the confirmed link back to your product on each row.
A launch roadmap listing the markets one product has entered in date order — Canada, Russia, Australia, Singapore — each marked confirmed with the number of registrations behind it.
A product's launch roadmap: the markets it has entered, in order, each confirmed against its registrations.

A medical device sales CRM next to Salesforce and Zoho

The licence row below is deliberately not like-for-like: a Salesforce or Zoho seat buys a capable general-purpose system that someone at your company then has to shape into a device company, and plenty of device companies run on them that way. The Meridian price buys one already shaped for it — the objects, the set-up, the market data and the people — so read the table as what it costs to have a working CRM for a device company, not as seat against seat.

Setup

Or just outsource the setup to us

The part of a CRM rollout that actually costs you is not the licence. It is the months where somebody senior stops doing their job to decide what a "market" is, what a "registration" should look like, and which spreadsheet is the real one.

You do not have to do any of that here. Send us a product list and the markets you care about; during onboarding we load your products, your markets, the partners you already work with and the renewal dates that go with them — then show you the result rather than a training video. Onboarding is included in the price, not a line item. After that there is a quarterly check-in on the calendar, and a person to ask in between.

For consultants

Consultancies run their client work here too

Meridian Trace is also the CRM and the project management a regulatory or market-access consultancy needs. Each client is a project — their registrations, markets, partners and renewals in one place, with the same market data behind them — so the work you report on is the work the system is already tracking. A listing in the Directory puts your firm in front of manufacturers choosing an advisor.

What it costs

One price for the company, not per seat

$999/month

or $9,999/year paid annually — two months free

per company, billed monthly or annually

  • Up to 25 users at your company
  • 10 GB of document storage — IFUs, certificates, partner files
  • Onboarding and setup included
  • Quarterly check-ins included
  • The market data is part of it, not an add-on

Founding rate: $499/month, or $4,999/year, for the first 15 companies. It is permanent — it does not step up later.

What a year buys. At the founding rate, $4,999 a year is roughly what one or two market assessments cost when you commission them separately, or a couple of trans-Pacific business trips. For that, a team of up to 25 gets the time back that goes into assembling this by hand, a standing answer to "are we still covered there", and partners found before a competitor finds them.

FAQ

Questions we get about the CRM

Is this a CRM, or a database?
Both halves of one thing. It has the objects a device company works in — registrations, license holders and distributors, renewals, markets, products, hospital accounts, contacts and deals — and the market data already sits inside them, so a distributor record is not an empty row waiting for you to research it.
Do we have to configure it before we can use it?
No. The objects are already there, because they are the same for every device company. Onboarding is included: send us a product list and the markets you care about, and we load your products, markets, partners and renewal dates. There is no implementation partner to hire and no administrator role to fill.
How does the price compare to Salesforce or Zoho?
Both price per user, per month, so the bill grows with the team. Meridian Trace is one flat price for the company — $999 a month, up to 25 users, the same whether one person logs in or twenty-five. Paid annually it is $9,999 a year, which is two months free. The founding rate for the first 15 companies is $499 a month, or $4,999 a year. The table above has the published figures we read.
How many people at our company can use it?
Up to 25 users at your company, at one price. Regulatory, commercial and the people running the distributors can all be in the same workspace, because a market-access decision is rarely one person's. The workspace includes 10 GB of document storage for IFUs, certificates and partner files.
What data is already in it on day one?
Millions of data points across 30 markets, the local entities that hold registrations in those markets, the companies that could distribute for you, and a monthly view of what your competitors have filed.
